Lichen settles into a soft grey crust that breaks and lifts as it fires, the texture deepening the thicker you lay it on. Brushed thin it stays subtle; built up it moves toward dramatic, lava-like relief.

- Firing range: 1240–1280°C (Orton Cone 6-8)
- Finish: Textured, matt, grey
- Application: Brush-on. Thicker coats give deeper texture
