PRAM White Sculpture/Raku Stoneware with Coarse Grog 0-1.5mm (Cone 6-10) 12.5kg

$37.50

White sculpture/raku clay with 40% coarse grog 0-1.5 mm (up to 12 Mesh).

Heavily textured finish for those rough and rugged pieces. This clay is ideal for large sculptural works, murals and big Raku pieces - or for those throwers with tough hands!

The high content of grog provides a beautiful texture and an excellent behaviour during drying and firing. As well as high strength characteristics.

Its particular ivory colour after firing is much appreciated and provides an excellent ware for glazes and colouring oxides, which develop bright and intense tones.

Available in an extruded body.

The colour samples may show temperatures outside the recommended range to provide a broader view, but these are pieces fired under controlled conditions. Cone equivalence according to Orton table for self-supporting cones, regular-SSB and 150ºC/hr heating rate.
